A California church, Calvary Chapel, has been fined $1.2 million for violating COVID-19 restrictions. The church allowed congregants to attend services without wearing masks, which defied the rules mandated by Santa Clara County.
Superior Court Judge Evette D. Pennypacker, who was appointed by the Democrat Governor Jerry Brown, ridiculed the church for its noncompliance and claimed that the church urged others to do the same, regardless of the cost.
