You’ll NEVER Guess Which Advisor Is Leaving Biden’s Team

Susan Rice, the former National Security Advisor and United Nations Ambassador has announced that she will be stepping down as President Joe Biden’s Domestic Policy Advisor.

Rice has been praised by Biden for her hard work, determination, and dedication to the American people. She has helped to expand and strengthen the Affordable Care Act, released a comprehensive national mental health strategy, enabled Medicare to negotiate lower prescription drug prices for seniors, and cap the cost of insulin at $35. Rice has also worked to reduce gun violence, advance police reform, and address our failed approach to marijuana.

Politico has reported that Neera Tanden, Biden’s staff secretary and senior adviser, is being considered among others to replace Rice. However, no replacement has been finalized, a top White House official separately told the outlet.

Rice has been a contributing opinion writer for the New York Times and has also served as U.S. Assistant Secretary of State for African Affairs and Director for International Organizations and Peacekeeping at the National Security Council under President Clinton from 1993-2001.
