During an appearance on Sunday Morning Futures with Maria Bartiromo, House Speaker Kevin McCarthy expressed his deep concern about the alliance of enemies forming against the United States as we suffer from weak leadership under Joe Biden.
Speaker McCarthy was asked about the possibility of China becoming a power broker and bringing Saudi Arabia together with Iran. He responded by saying that the time for worrying has passed, and that the situation is already on the stage. China has entered the Middle East and is brokering a deal with Iran, putting them back on the world stage.
McCarthy went on to warn that it looks a lot like 1936 all over again, with an axis of power consisting of Russia, China, North Korea, and Iran, all bound together against the freedom and values of what America represents. He pointed out that President Xi has only left his country one time during the pandemic, and that was for them all to meet.
The lack of strength of our leadership in America is causing our allies to seek better relationships with China, as we’ve seen with Germany and Saudi Arabia. This is due to our weak economic and energy policies, among others.
McCarthy emphasized that the last time we had a Democrat administration, they allowed Russia back into the Middle East, and now they’re bringing China in as a leader.
This is a critical moment for our country. We can’t let our enemies gain more power and influence in the world, especially when they’re aligned against our values and freedoms. We need strong leadership that will put America first and stand up for what we believe in.
As Republicans, we must support our leaders like Kevin McCarthy who are sounding the alarm and working to protect our country. We can’t afford to be complacent or naive about the threats we face. We need to be vigilant and proactive in defending our nation and our way of life.
In conclusion, let’s heed the warning of House Speaker Kevin McCarthy and work together to strengthen our country and defend our values against the axis of power that threatens our freedom.
