Emerson College conducted a recent national survey revealing interesting insights on the 2024 Presidential nominees and President Biden’s approval ratings.
The survey indicated that President Biden’s job approval remains steady at 44%, while his disapproval rating has risen from 48% to 50%. Despite this, his approval rating among Democratic voters remains consistent at 77% in January and 78% in February.
The survey also revealed that the percentage of Democratic voters who believe Biden should be the party’s nominee for the 2024 election has increased, rising from 58% to 71% since the previous Emerson poll in January.
Donald Trump remains the favored candidate in the 2024 Republican Primary, according to two separate Emerson polls, with a consistent 55% of the vote.
Florida Governor Ron DeSantis, however, has experienced a decline in support, dropping from 29% to 25% in the past month. Meanwhile, former Vice President Mike Pence currently holds 8% of the vote, and former UN Ambassador Nikki Haley has 5%.
