Jim Jordan ASKS A Question We’re All Thinking

As the saying goes, “the apple doesn’t fall far from the tree,” and that seems to be the case with Hunter Biden, son of President Joe Biden.

While the Department of Justice (DOJ) has appointed special counsels to investigate former President Donald Trump and President Biden himself, they have not appointed one to investigate Hunter Biden’s shady business dealings.

House Judiciary Committee Chairman Jim Jordan (R-OH) is wondering why Hunter Biden is getting a pass. Jordan has sent a letter to Attorney General Merrick Garland asking for documents related to the DOJ’s investigation of Hunter Biden.

Jordan notes in his letter that the investigation “raises the appearance of a conflict of interest that would necessitate special counsel protections and authorities.” Despite appointing special counsels in other investigations, the DOJ has not appointed one to investigate Hunter Biden.

Voters are skeptical of Hunter Biden’s business dealings as well. According to a new poll, 73% of registered voters believe that Hunter Biden did something illegal or unethical in his business dealings in Ukraine and China.

It’s clear that something fishy is going on, and Republicans shouldn’t wait for the DOJ to act. They should launch their own investigation.

It’s time for the DOJ to hold the Biden family accountable for their actions. If one of Trump’s sons had done even a fraction of what Hunter Biden has, Democrats would treat it like a matter of national security.

But because Hunter Biden is the son of a Democrat president, he seems to be getting a pass. Republicans cannot let this stand. They must demand answers and hold the Biden family accountable for their actions.
