Former Navy pilot Ryan Graves has called on President Joe Biden to investigate the mysterious Unidentified Aerial Phenomena (UAP) that have been spotted in American airspace.
Graves, who has firsthand experience witnessing these phenomena, explained that the upgrades made to radar systems in 2014 allowed his squadron to discover these unknown objects. Unlike mere balloons, UAPs can accelerate at speeds up to Mach 1 and hold their position despite Category 4 hurricane-force winds.
Furthermore, they lack visible means of lift, control surfaces or propulsion, which is unlike any aircraft with wings, flaps or engines.
Graves emphasized that UAPs are not isolated incidents and that the lack of understanding of what’s above our heads is a national security issue. If the UAPs turn out to be foreign drones, they pose a threat to national security and airspace safety.
The U.S. government needs to acknowledge UAPs and admit that it’s possible another country has developed game-changing technology.
Florida Senator Marco Rubio, R, confirmed that the origin of these UAPs is not the U.S. military, and advanced objects demonstrating advanced technology are routinely flying over restricted or sensitive airspace, posing a risk to flight safety and national security.
The Navy has officially acknowledged 11 near misses with UAPs that required evasive action and triggered mandatory safety reports between 2004 and 2021.
