To all the passionate Republican voters out there, we’ve got some news that may not sit well with you. Former White House Press Secretary Jen Psaki is set to debut her very own Sunday political show on MSNBC next month.
We know that the mention of MSNBC might make some of you cringe, but hear us out. This move is a part of an effort to give Psaki an exhaustive role on the political network. She’s going to be everywhere: streaming, social media, various television shows, and even a columnist for the network’s morning newsletter.
Her Sunday show, called “Inside with Jen Psaki,” will air at noon and feature one-on-one interviews with newsmakers, essays, and explainers of complicated political issues like the war in Ukraine and debt ceiling talks. And if you can’t catch it live, don’t worry—it will be available the next day on the Peacock streaming service.
We understand that this may not be the news you were hoping for, but it’s important to get to know all voices in the political sphere, regardless of whether or not we agree with them.
Rebecca Kutler, MSNBC’s senior vice president for content strategy, said, “We want to bring Jen’s voice to MSNBC’s audience everywhere,” and we think that’s a sentiment we can all get behind.
Psaki has quickly become a presence across MSNBC’s schedule, during big news coverage and as a guest commentator on other programs, like “Morning Joe” on Tuesday. Her new show will provide her with an even larger platform to express her views and share her expertise.
Now, we know some of you may be wondering what Kayleigh McEnany, Psaki’s predecessor as White House press secretary, is up to these days. Well, we’re happy to report that she’s thriving as a host of the midday weekday show, “Outnumbered,” on Fox News Channel.
At the end of the day, we understand that politics can be a divisive topic. But we hope that you’ll keep an open mind and tune in to “Inside with Jen Psaki” when it debuts on March 19. It’s important to hear all perspectives in order to make informed decisions and have a well-rounded understanding of the political landscape.
