As Democrats continue to push their dangerous “soft on crime” policies and far-left “woke ideology,” it’s no surprise that Florida, with its commitment to law and order and conservative principles, is thriving.
Governor Ron DeSantis, who was re-elected in a landslide victory, highlighted this in his recent inaugural address, calling Florida a “promised land of sanity” and a place where “woke goes to die.”
It’s clear that DeSantis’ leadership and support for law enforcement is paying off, as data from the Census Bureau shows that Florida’s population grew a staggering 1.9% in just one year, making it the fastest-growing state in the country for the first time since 1957.
This is in stark contrast to blue states in the Northeast and Midwest, which are experiencing a mass exodus of productive Americans as they flee the failed experiments of radical-left policies.
And it’s not just Florida that is benefiting from the rejection of Democrats’ destructive agenda. Texas, with its own commitment to conservative values, saw the largest population increase, reaching a total of 30,029,572 million. These two states, Florida and Texas, are now the only ones with a population over 30 million.
DeSantis called out the Democrats’ misguided priorities, pointing out how they have “coddled criminals and attacked law enforcement,” imposed “unreasonable burdens on taxpayers” with their excessive spending, and harmed education by putting “partisan interest groups” ahead of students and parents. He also criticized their “medical authoritarianism” and baseless pandemic mandates and restrictions.
This so-called “justice for the marginalized” ideology, DeSantis said, is nothing more than an attack on American institutions, merit, and achievement, and promotes a divisive identity politics.
In contrast, DeSantis and the people of Florida stand for normalcy, reality, and truth. We will never surrender to the Democrats’ cancel culture mob, and Florida will remain a beacon of sanity in a sea of liberal madness.
