Biden Administration’s COVID-19 Protocols Called into Question by Republican Congressman

The Biden administration continues to push their unscientific and overreaching COVID-19 protocols on American citizens, even after the President himself declared the pandemic to be over. White House Press Secretary Karine Jean-Pierre recently stated that COVID-19 is not over, despite President Biden’s own words to the contrary.

This comes after Republican Congressman Nick LaLota of New York announced that he would not be attending a reception hosted by President Biden due to the mandatory vaccination attestation and negative COVID-19 test result required for attendance.

Rep. LaLota stated that he is rejecting President Biden’s invitation to the reception as a form of protest against these arbitrary and unscientific pandemic protocols.

“The time for arbitrary and unscientific pandemic protocols should be far behind us and I am forgoing a historic trip to the White House to raise awareness of this punitive policy in hopes that President Biden will reverse it and other arbitrary, outdated, and unscientific restrictions across the federal system,” he said.

In September 2022, President Biden declared on national television that the pandemic was over, yet the White House continues to impose unnecessary and burdensome restrictions on American citizens.

This includes the requirement for a negative COVID test to attend events held at the White House, despite the President himself acknowledging that the pandemic is over.

Rep. LaLota’s decision to boycott the reception over its COVID-19 policies has been met with support from other Republicans such as Rep. Wesley Hunt of Texas. “5 months ago, President Biden declared on national television that the pandemic was over. However, the White House is requiring a negative COVID test to attend tonight’s taxpayer funded soirĂ©e. I politely decline,” Rep. Hunt said.

It is time for the Biden administration to listen to the American people and put an end to these unscientific and overreaching COVID-19 protocols.

The pandemic may be over, but the damage caused by these restrictive policies will continue to be felt for years to come. It is time for the Biden administration to stop playing politics with the health and well-being of the American people.
