In a shocking revelation, the Justice Department is doing everything in their power to cover up the release of 400 pages of highly sensitive documents concerning payments and gifts given to President Joe Biden’s son Hunter and his brother Jim Biden.
This information was requested in March by Colorado lawyer Kevin Evans under the Freedom of Information Act (FOIA). Evans, an expert on FOIA, asked for documents relating to “any relationship, communication, gift(s), and/or remuneration in any form” between Hunter Biden or Jim Biden and China, Russia, or Ukraine.
Initially, the Justice Department claimed to have 400 pages of “potentially relevant” documents, but now they are denying that these documents even exist.
This news comes at a time when a Justice Department prosecutor, David Weiss, is considering bringing a criminal case against Hunter Biden for potential allegations of money laundering, illegal foreign lobbying, and tax crimes in relation to his overseas business dealings.
Unfortunately, the 400 pages of documents concerning the Biden family are not the only records being sought from the government. The National Archives and Records Administration is set to release hundreds of Obama White House internal documents containing information about Hunter’s relationship with the Ukrainian gas company Burisma.
During this time, Joe Biden was serving as vice president and had responsibility for relations with Ukraine. Meanwhile, his son was serving on the board of Burisma, being paid a hefty $83,000 per month. Although Biden’s administration has the power to veto the release of these documents, they must decide by February whether to invoke executive privilege and keep the documents hidden until 2029.
It is clear that the Justice Department and the Biden administration are going to great lengths to keep this information hidden from the public. But why? What are they trying to hide? The American people deserve to know the truth about the corrupt dealings of the Biden family.
It’s time for the Justice Department to come clean and release these documents. The Democrats can’t be allowed to sweep this corruption under the rug. It’s time for accountability.
